Who we've worked with

Sera tikotikoivatu, Miss Hibiscus/MISS FIJI - SOUTH PACIFIC 2010 - 11

“Dorothy Parker once said that ‘creativity is a wild mind and a disciplined eye’. This is something that rings true with Epeli Tuibeqa. From the first moment I met him he has always carried a scrapbook with different designs of dresses and some wild but very beautiful creations. When I became a Hibiscus contestant sponsored by Suva City Council, they had asked me if I had anyone in mind to design my attire for the main nights, they wanted someone who is creative and passionate. I knew that person was Epeli. Epeli didn’t ask for much from me but just to be recognised as a designer and an artist through the designs. He is committed, dedicated, passionate, puts us first and sees it through, he is an artist, during my pageant days he was my hair dresser, my make-up artist, most importantly my confidante. His hard work was rewarded when we won the best dress that year and the crown. Epeli takes dedication, passion and art to whole different level, he takes your ideas, envisions it (the materials, the designs, the fabric, etc.), puts it on paper and brings it to life.”"

“KuiViti to me means that there's always something radically differently and unpredictable when working with Epeli Tuibeqa. I had so much respect when I first met him at a photoshoot for the Hibiscus Festival pageant in 2014, but I never thought that I'd work with him personally until I won the Hibiscus crown. Every queen before me who had the privilege of working with him would definitely feel the same. Fun, crazy, dynamic and unpredictable would be the words to describe how Epeli works best and he doesn't disappoint when he puts his mind to work. For the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant 2014 he was to me almost everything (Stylist, Hair & Make-Up, Catwalk and what-not tutor and of course a friend) and wearing his beautiful two piece during the traditionally inspired wear category despite the results I was already winning. Epeli is one of a kind of a designer and when I see his work it's so distinctive that it's stands out. Thank you Epeli for always being you because there is only one Mystery Mealofa!!! Love you!!"

NANISE RAINIMA, Miss Hibiscus/MISS FIJI - SOUTH PACIFIC 2014 - 15

“Epeli and I really got to know each other in 2011 when he designed and styled for me at the Hibiscus Festival. Together we won the best dressed category as well as the crown. His beautiful and intricate designs were the only reason I lobbied so hard for Epeli to join me in Apia, Samoa for the Miss Pacific Islands pageant and design and style me for that event as well, it had more to do with the spirit, drive and passion he has for his work. Each piece is a labor of love that he pours a bit of himself into, he is a true artist in every unconventional sense of the word - if that even
